George Macedo was born in Bangkok, Thailand during the Vietnam War and was adopted by a U.S. Air Force serviceman and brought to the United States.
George began drawing at the age of 4 while watching artists on television teach step by step techniques. He continued this interest in fine art through grade school and college, eventually earning a fine art degree from the University of Central Florida in 1991.
Today, George is the illustrator and graphics supervisor of Maple Landmark Woodcraft in Middlebury, Vermont.
